About 

I create vibrant mixed media work that often explores the tension between chaos and order, emotion and structure.

I layer bold colour fields with textured surfaces and symbolic motifs that can sometimes feel both visceral and dreamlike.

I started painting very late in life and in my 60s got my first solo exhibition which was great fun and very sucessful - so I carrried on painting and developing my particular style of abstract work which I now am proud to have in exhibitions and galleries.  Painting brings me such joy and you will find me most days in my studio in Devon with my clothes, face and hair spattered in paint and happy as can be !
