About 

I create vibrant mixed media/collage  work that often explores the tension between chaos and order, emotion and structure.

I layer bold colour fields, creating textured surfaces and symbolic motifs that can sometimes feel both visceral and dreamlike.

​

My figurative paintings have a surreal and sometimes naive quality focussing on shape, colour  and emotion rather than realism.

I started painting very late in life and in my 60s got my first solo exhibition which was great fun and very successful- so I carrried on painting and developing my particular style of work which I now am proud to have in exhibitions and galleries.  Painting brings me such joy and you will find me most days in my studio in North Devon splattered in paint and happy as can be !
